Police are investigating an early morning shooting at a Youngstown gas station. 

It happened at Shell Quick Check Gas Mart on South Avenue around 1:30 a.m. A store manager told 21 News two people walked by the store and started fighting with a customer in the drive thru eventually leading to shots being fired.

Our 21 News crew at the scene saw two windows that appear to have been shot at and damaged.

One person was shot and taken to the hospital, but the severity of their injuries is unknown at this time.

The incident is under investigation.
