Police in Warren are investigating after a dumpster was set on fire at a church on Christmas Eve.

According to a police report, police were called to The River Church on Tod Avenue by an anonymous caller around 4 a.m. Christmas Eve for a dumpster fire.

The caller told police two suspects were riding around the parking lot, as well as through his yard on four-wheelers.

Eventually, police say the caller heard a loud "pop" sound and soon saw flames coming from the church's dumpster. The Warren Fire Department was able to put out the fire.

Police say the suspects fled the scene on the four-wheelers. Officers were able to follow their tracks to the area of Dollar General on Parkman Road, however no suspects appear to have been found there.
