A Warren man has been declared a sex offender and will spend time in jail after pleading guilty earlier to gross sexual imposition.

Alexander Grice, 33, appeared in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court on Thursday before Judge Ronald Rice who sentenced Grice to three months in jail, followed by five years probation.

In addition, as a Tier One Sex Offender, Grice must register his address with the local sheriff each year for 15 years.

The original charges brought against Grice were sexual battery and corrupting another with drugs. The victim in the case was 16 years old.
