A one-car crash in Lowellville late Tuesday sent a woman to the hospital.

Police and EMTs were called to the 1400 block of Coit Road just before 11:30 p.m. after dispatchers were told that the car struck a tree and the driver was trapped.

A woman was taken to the hospital where she was last listed in stable condition.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
