A Struthers man who spent 17 years in prison for involuntary manslaughter, arson, and abuse of corpse is back behind bars.
Fifty-six-year-old Brian Gasior was booked into the Mahoning County Jail Friday for allegedly violating terms of his parole.
Gasior was arrested in July 2007 after the body of 47-year-old Stanley Markasky was found in a burning apartment on Broadway Avenue.
A grand jury handed up a murder indictment in the case. However, Gasior pleaded guilty to the less serious involuntary manslaughter charge. He was released from prison in July but was still on probation.
Gasior was wanted by the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction’s Adult Parole Authority for violating the conditions of his supervision.
