Price Cutter expected to open in former Hubbard Save A Lot location in February

Back in October of 2024, 21 News reported on a new grocery store coming to the former Save A Lot store in Hubbard. Now, the opening for that store is getting closer.
Hubbard Mayor Ben Kyle told 21 News while no opening date has officially been set yet, he was told by the store's owners that the store will be opening very soon.
Originally, the store was set to open around Thanksgiving of 2024. However, Mayor Kyle said a "number of delays" had prevented that from happening.
According to a post on Mayor Kyle's Facebook page, the store is now expected to open sometime in February. In the meantime, the store had been conducting open interviews daily from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. all throughout last week.
21 News will provide updates on the store's opening date once we learn it. Stay connected online and on air for the latest updates.
