After three days of searching, Honey the dog was finally reunited with her owner due to the efforts of two drone companies known for pet rescue.

Honey and her owner, Jenn Sharpe were involved in a car crash with several others on Sunday, February 2, where Honey was startled and ran off due to the sound of an ambulance arriving.

The two companies, Diversified Drone and Vantage Point, witnessed the accident and came together with the use of thermal drones to keep track of Honey during those days.

It was stated that Honey ran from State Route 224 all the way to 680 South as well as Poland Woods.

Josh Nicholas, owner of Diversified Drones, stated that due to their powerful drones and location pinning on Honey, they were able to keep track of her movements day and night.

He also states that him and Zach Dzurinda, owner of Vantage Point, would take turns swapping out battery packs to keep eyes on Honey at all times as well as begin a plan to catch her.

After attempting to capture Honey multiple times, it was not until helpers Scott McCuskey from Pet Lodge USA of Boardman, Kimberly Perkins and Sarah Oaks from All Paws are Perfect Rescue and Jenn Sharpe were able to plan together to finally rescue Honey.

Honey was found and remained in the woods for the time being until she heard her owner's voice calling out to her.

Honey spotted her owner and happily came running to her in a matter of seconds and was safely reunited on Wednesday morning.

Nicholas states he is thankful they were able to finally secure Honey before frigid temperatures were expected to set in.

Additionally, Jenn Sharpe says, "We couldn't have done it without Zach and Josh with their drones. We would've never been able to find her."

She continues, "And also with all the support and dedication that everyone put into finding Honey was truly a blessing. Honey is a very important and special part of our family!"
