The Youngstown State men's basketball team picked up a road win over Oakland Thursday night, 84-75.

The Penguins held the lead for over 37 minutes and shot over 43 percent from the field.

EJ Farmer led YSU in scoring with 25 points, while Juwan Maxey added 19. Cris Carroll and Nico Galette both had 10.

For Oakland, Allen David Mukeba led the way with 18 points and 10 rebounds.

The Penguins improve to 15-10 overall, 9-5 in conference. They play at Detroit Mercy Saturday at 1 p.m.
