If you're looking to add a new furry friend to your family, Every Dog Matters Rescue Group in Boardman is giving you the opportunity to do just that on Saturday.

The organization will be holding an adoption event between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday, February 8 at Kuflietner Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram on Market Street in Boardman.

Various dogs will be up for adoption at different times of the day. The schedule can be found below. You can also take a look at every dog available for adoption in the slideshow above.

- Buckeye and Ooty (11 a.m. until noon)

- Dino and Callie (noon until 1 p.m.)

- Rush and Piper (1 p.m. until 2 p.m.)

- Sal and Kodak (2 p.m. until 3 p.m.)

Nicole Teasley, a volunteer for Every Dog Matters, tells 21 News the shelter charges an adoption fee for all dogs. The shelter also does vet checks and home visits to ensure the dogs will be given a good home and will be well taken care of.
