The Youngstown State women's basketball team lost their third straight game in a 61-56 loss to Milwaukee on Saturday afternoon.

The Penguins led 13-11 at the end of the first and then trailed 27-25 at the halftime. 

The YSU and Milwaukee traded baskets back and fourth in the third, but the Panthers still led by two as they headed into the fourth. 

Youngstown State went on to take a two point lead in the fourth but Milwaukee fought back and held on to beat the Penguins.

Malia Magestro led the team with 24 points in the loss.

The Penguins fell to 4-10 in the Horizon League and 9-15 overall.

YSU will return home at 6:30 p.m. on February 13th, to host Wright State.
