Youngstown State University is calling all artists interested in participating in the 27th Annual Summer Festival of the Arts, which is returning to YSU's campus in July.

After four years of being hosted at Wean Park in downtown Youngstown, the festival is returning to campus on July 12 and 13. The university is looking for artists of all mediums including painting, sculpting, ceramics, glass, textiles, jewelry and photography.

Applications will be accepted through March 31. Applicants will owe a $35 application fee at the time of registration. An early bird registration application fee of $25 is available between now and February 28.

All entries will be judged based on originality, creativity, craftsmanship and professionalism, as well as the expression of a unique vision and style and the mastery of the chosen medium.

Artists are selected by a jury of local artists.
