Police in Youngstown are investigating after an ATM had been stolen from a gas station in the city.

According to a police report, police were called to Shehy Market on Shehy Street just after 12:30 Monday morning following an alarm drop.

When they got there, police saw that the security gate on the front door had been raised and the front door inside the gate had been unlocked.

Police say various snacks and other products were scattered across the store and on the sidewalk outside and that a hammer was found on the counter.

The store's owner showed police security camera video, which captured two suspects lifting the security gate and enter the store and dragging an ATM out the front door two minutes later.

Following this the video showed the two suspects into a vehicle that pulled up in front of the entrance before driving away.

No suspects have been named at this time.
