2000: Cold Metal Products is considering closing its Montgomery Avenue plant, employing about 100 hourly workers, and moving the 30 salaried employees to Sewickley, Pa.
Students interviewed at Youngstown State University express little concern over a five percent tuition increase, which will increase tuition from $3,640 to $3,816 for the year. "It's not that big of a deal," says one.
