Trumbull County Board of Health seeking new seat member

TRUMBULL COUNTY, OH - The Trumbull County Health District Advisory and the Trumbull County Board of Health are seeking interested parties for a seat on the Trumbull County Board of Health.
According to a press release, any interested candidate must have the following qualifications:
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Be a registered voter residing within the Health District
- Complete and file the nominating petition on a form prescribed by the Health District Advisory Council. The nominating petition can be found via the Trumbull County Combined Health District (TCCHD) website, or by visiting the TCCHD office.
The press release also states that residents of the city of Warren are ineligible for the position.
Any candidate chosen would be appointed to a 5-year term on the Trumbull County Board of Public Health.
Board of Health members receive $80 for each meeting attended, and are required to complete two hours of continuing education each year.
Board of Health meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of every month at 1 p.m. at the Trumbull County Combined Health District Office.
Officials clarified that the appointment is a seat on the Board, and would not be a staff position.
Interested applicants may submit a letter of interest, resume and nominating petition to the Trumbull County Health District Advisory Council by 4 p.m. on March 4.
