A suspect accused of leading State Troopers on a pursuit in East Liverpool early Tuesday has been arrested.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a driver fled as a Trooper tried to pull him over at 1 a.m. for a suspended license and a broken windshield at Smith Street and Lincoln Avenue.
The Patrol says the chase only lasted four minutes until losing sight of the Honda at St. Clair and McKinnon Avenue. However, troopers learned that the suspect, 21-year-old Bryan McIntyre was at a relative’s apartment in East Liverpool and arrested him there.
McIntyre is in the Columbiana County Jail on charges of fleeing and eluding, driving with a defective vehicle, and with a suspended license.
