The Youngstown State men's basketball team is in the mix of the Horizon League championship.

With three regular season games remaining the Penguins are tied with Robert Morris (12-5) a half game behind Cleveland State (12-4).

The Penguins host Milwaukee (11-5) Friday night at 9:00 pm in a game nationally televised on ESPNU.

" I hope our fans are excited about the opportunity as we are," said head coach Ethan Faulkner, whose team is on a four game winning streak.

"I think will definitely have a good crowd here and we need a great home court advantage because Milwaukee is a very good basketball team."

Nico Galette, the Co- Horizon League Player of the Week would like to see a big crowd as well.

"I've seen some of the promotions for the game and it'd be great to see a packed house," said Galette.

The Penguins control their own destiny to a first round bye in the conference tournament with a sweep of their final three games.

"We certainly do need help to win the regular season championship but we don't need help to finish inside the top four in the league," said Faulkner.

YSU has special ticket prices for a limited time and plenty of promotions.
