One man is under arrest after authorities say they found drugs and cash during the search of a New Castle home, according to the Lawrence County District Attorney’s Office.

Members of the High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas Task Force and New Castle City Police Department executed a search warrant at 901 Butler Ave. on Sunday.

Authorities report finding 172 grams of suspected cocaine, 108 grams of suspected heroin/fentanyl, 1.9 grams of suspected crack cocaine, seven amphetamine dextroamphetamine tablets, six acetaminophen and oxycodone tablets, $1,670 in cash, and a bag containing 3 grams of suspected cocaine and 2 grams of suspected heroin/fentanyl.

James Hall was arrested and charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver controlled substances. Additional charges are pending against the other individuals, the district attorney’s office said.

During the investigation, a vehicle in the apartment building’s parking lot was identified as having been stolen from Youngstown. The driver was taken into custody and charged with theft of a motor vehicle.
