Shots fired at vehicle in Warren

WARREN, Ohio - Warren City Police were dispatched to a convenience store on North Park Ave where there was a call of shots fired.
Police spoke with the caller on Sunday where she stated that while trying to visit an unknown male on Idywild Street, she attempted to call him but instead reached an unknown female that allegedly threatened to shoot her if she returned back down the street.
According to the report, the caller turned back towards North Park and started to blare her car horn until she heard shots fired towards her.
She drove to a convenience store and called 911.
When the police arrived, she was unharmed and an inspection of her vehicle revealed that her front passenger tire had been blown out.
Additionally, she stated to police that the unknown male she was going to meet drives a GMC Yukon that is owned by his mother.
No arrests have been made at this time, but police made contact with the unknown male's mother for any further information on the matter.
