United Way, Bernat Family open Care Closet at Lowellville Local Schools

Another school district in the Mahoning Valley will be a part of the United Way of Youngstown and Mahoning Valley's Care Closet program.
The United Way has opened the latest Care Closet at Lowellville Local Schools to provide students in need with essential resources to help them focus on learning without the burden of unmet necessities.
Essential items provided by the Care Closet include clothing, hygiene products and school supplies. The Care Closet is inside the school's buildings for staff teachers and students to access whenever they need it.
This would be the 20th Care Closet in the Mahoning Valley with other districts utilizing it including Sebring Local Schools and Struthers City Schools.
This iteration of the Care Closet was made possible by Dr. Ray Bernat and Sherry Bernat.
