Mahoning County Fire Chiefs announce '23rd Annual Fire Symposium' and logo contest
The Mahoning County Fire Chiefs’ Association announces 23rd Annual Fire Symposium and logo redesign contest for Mahoning Valley students.
The symposium is scheduled for March 29 and 30.
It will be held at the Mahoning County and Career Center (MCCTC) located at North Palmyra Road in Canfield.
The event will bring together fire and emergency medical professionals to strengthen firefighting techniques and emergency medical operations that will raise excellence in the field.
The symposium will start at 8 a.m. both days, with keynote speakers starting at 9 a.m. that will offer attendees valuable insights into the latest trends and best practices in emergency response.
A networking luncheon will take place both days at 11:30 a.m., with hands-on activities and interactive learning sessions from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m.
Additionally, H.O.T (Hands-on Training) classes and State Fire Academy simulators will offer real-world training to all participants.
The event will also offer Continuing Education (CE) credits for all attendees.

MCFCA is also seeking a redesigned logo to represent the organization.
This logo design contest will be open to students throughout the Mahoning Valley.
They are seeking a unique and innovative design for the Association.
The chosen logo will be used across the Association's materials, merchandise and online platforms as well be unveiled at this years Fire Symposium.

The first place winner will receive a $50 Visa gift card, as well see their design become the official logo at the Mahoning County Fire Chiefs Association.
The runner-up will receive a $25 Bruno Brothers Pizza gift card.
