Grand jury indicts suspect in Youngstown homicide

A grand jury has indicted a man who is suspected to have been involved in a murder in Youngstown.
Jonathon Simmons, 29, has been indicted on the charge of murder, an unclassified felony, and a firearm specification.
At this time, it is unknown when Simmons will be due in court again.
This comes after Simmons' case was bound over to the Mahoning County Court of Common Pleas last month for a grand jury to review if there was enough evidence to indict Simmons on the charges against him.
Simmons was arrested as a suspect to a shooting that left one dead in Youngstown in January.
The Mahoning County Coroner's Office named Brandon Ogden, 27, as the victim of the shooting.
Ogden was killed in a shooting that happened just after 11 p.m. January 10 on Ohio Avenue near Upland Avenue. He was transported to the hospital where he later died of his injuries around 12:30 a.m. January 11.
