A petition has been created demanding justice for the victims of a dog breeder who pocketed money for puppies that were never received.

The petition was organized by Ken Young, who says he is one of the many victims in the case of April Waidman, who Young says sold the same puppy to many buyers and had puppies that passed away.

Young further says Waidman would block purchasers so they couldn't get their money back or simply ignore them.

"April had many years to refinance her house or work many jobs and make things right. She only started to do so once several people got court orders and her lawyer instructed her to do so," the petition reads.

Young says up until that point, Waidman "berated, taunted and bragged" to her victims and told them she would not follow court orders or pay them back in a timely manner.

"She shows no remorse and is arrogant and smug when speaking about the situation," the petition reads.

Young is calling for Waidman to be sentenced to at least six months in jail followed by five years of probation, and says her attorney's proposal for house arrest would be a "slap in the face" to her victims.

Waidman is scheduled to be sentenced on April 24 on more than 80 charges including 45 felony theft charges and 26 misdemeanor theft charges.
