A Masury man accused of killing his sister in a home will be held without bond.

During an arraignment hearing, 61-year-old John Zanolli did not enter a plea for a charge of aggravated murder. He will continue to be held without bond.

Zanolli is charged in connection with the shooting death of his sister Janice Zanolli, who was found dead in a home on 3rd Street with a gunshot wound to the head Saturday morning.

Brookfield Township Police Chief Aaron Kesiewicz tells 21 News police investigation revealed Janice had been dead since Wednesday and John had spent the following days contemplating suicide.

When police got to the house on Saturday, they found John in the home with a gun threatening suicide. He was able to be apprehended within about 30 minutes.

Zanolli is due back in court Tuesday, March 11.
