Masury man involved in deadly standoff sentenced to 23 years to life in prison

MASURY, Ohio - A Masury man involved in a deadly standoff back in December of 2024 has learned his fate.
Trumbull County Assistant Prosecutor Chris Becker tells 21 News Andrew Reedy pled guilty to one count each of aggravated murder and aggravated burglary, both with firearm specifications.
Reedy was handed a sentence of 23 years to life in prison on these charges.
The charges stem from an hours-long standoff on Lucy Street that claimed the life of 57-year-old Jane Payton, who Reedy had previously dated. 911 audio revealed that Reedy had been evicted from the home, but came back on the property.
Becker tells 21 News Payton's family was at the hearing and were satisfied with the sentence.
