Civilian employees at Youngstown Air Reserve Station briefed on 'what you did last week' emails

Civilian employees in the U.S. Air Force including the Youngstown Air Reserve Station (YARS) have received memorandums providing guidance on how to respond to emails detailing what they did in the previous week.
This comes following efforts from President Donald Trump and Elon Musk's so-called "Department of Government Efficiency" (DOGE) to send all federal employees emails asking them to list five things they accomplished in the previous week.
A memorandum sent by the U.S. Department of Defense to civilian employees with the U.S. Air Force instructs these workers to submit five bullet points detailing five things they did in the previous week without disclosing classified, privileged or sensitive information.
Employees were told these emails are subject to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and must detail accomplishments in line with the priorities of the Department of Defense.
The memorandum states that failure to respond will result in disciplinary action and may lead to further review.
Locally, a representative for YARS tells 21 News the Air Reserve Station has 200 civilian employees and 100 of those employees are represented by the American Federation of Government Employees.
The memorandum can be read below.
