Flames forced people to flee from their Lawrence County home late Sunday.

A resident of a home on the 1200 block of South Valley View Road in Pulaski Township told dispatchers just before 11:30 p.m. that fire was coming from the chimney.

Occupants had evacuated the home, and the fire was out as firefighters arrived.

Fire crews searched the home and found only minor damage.

No one was injured.
