An actor from The Godfather who was originally scheduled to appear at the Robins Theatre in Warren will be now be at the DeYor Performing Arts Center

Originally, the Gianni Russo Experience was scheduled to take place at the Robins Theatre October 17, 2024, but it has since been rescheduled to Thursday, March 27 and moved to the Ford Recital Hall at the DeYor Performing Arts Center in Youngstown.

The event will include behind the scenes stories about the filming of The Godfather, as well as stories about Russo surviving a battle with polio, becoming a messenger for the mob, how Marlon Brando became his only acting coach and much more.

Ticket prices range from $42 to $52 and you can upgrade to VIP for $109. In addition to a ticket to the show, VIP admission includes a meet and greet with Russo, a signed copy of Russo's book and a VIP reception with appetizers.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Ray Mancini Foundation founded by Youngstown-based former champion boxer Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini.  

Russo is known for his role as Carlo Rizzi in The Godfather. He also had roles in movies like The Freshman, Rush Hour, Any Given Sunday and Sea Biscuit, as well as TV shows like Kojak, The Rockford Files and Prison Break.
