Insight Hospital, Medical Center Trumbull announce leadership change

Insight Hospital and Medical Center Trumbull sent out a new release on Wednesday afternoon that announced a change in leadership - in addition to announcing that it would pause admissions to the hospital.
According to the news release, a new President and Chief Restructuring Officer has been chosen.
That title will go to Gray Goncz, D.O. MMM CPE. He will also retain his title of Chief Medical Officer.
Dr. Goncz has roots in the community, according to the news release. He also has a background of clinical work and is connected to the elements of the hospital.
Dr. Goncz was appointed this role due to his "vantage point and training as a physician executive, CMO, practice builder, community member, leader and friend."
The news release says that these qualities would help provide the needed elements for the next phase of work.
The release goes on to thank Cindy Russo for her years of service as a hospital executive in the region and her time as president at Trumbull.
