A Youngstown man facing child pornography charges is expected to plead soon.

A court employee tells 21 News that a plea and sentencing hearing for 43-year-old Nicholas Belcastro has been set for April 17.

Belcastro is charged with five counts each of pandering obscenity involving a minor and illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance.

According to an indictment Belcastro's alleged crimes took place back in October of 2021. Belcastro was secretly indicted in December of 2024 and was booked in the Mahoning County Jail soon after.
