Eight members of the Youngstown State basketball team have entered the transfer portal since it opened Monday.

Ty Harper is the latest to enter Friday. The 6'3" guard started all 34 games and averaged 10.2 points, 3 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game this season.

Elijah Guillory & Kevin Hamilton entered Wednesday. Both did not play this season.

Juwan Maxey, Christian Kirkland and Dante DePante entered Tuesday.

Maxey, a junior guard, started 29 games for the Penguins during the 2024-2025 campaign. He averaged 11.4 points a game.

Kirkland and DePante are both redshirt freshman.

Gabe Dynes and David Wilkerson were the first two players to enter the portal.

The Penguins finished the 2024-2025 season with a 21-13 overall record and a trip to the Horizon League Championship.
