New president named for Campbell City Council
The 3rd Ward Councilman, Joey Mazzocca, was named council president at Wednesday's meeting.

The City of Campbell has announced the name of the new city council president after George Levendis moved into his new role as mayor of Campbell.
The 3rd Ward Councilman, Joey Mazzocca, was named council president at Wednesday's meeting.
The council president position was left vacant after Levendis became mayor due to Brian Tedesco's unexpected death.
Tedesco was originally elected as Campbell's mayor during the general election in 2021 where he defeated incumbent Nick Phillips.
City Administrator Judie Clement confirmed the mayor's death, saying he died unexpectedly in his sleep overnight.
It is unclear at this time if the council will be looking for a new 3rd Ward Councilperson.
