Third crash along I-76 again shuts down EB I-76 traffic in Milton Township

First responders were kept busy Thursday morning with three accidents along Interstate 76 in western Mahoning County.
The latest was reported just after 10 a.m. along the eastbound lanes of the interstate near Route 534 where traffic was still backed up from an accident in Jackson Township earlier in the morning.
The crash involved a semi tractor trailer and a pickup truck, spilling oil and tire debris over the highway, closing the eastbound lanes once again.
At last one person was injured.
Material to soak up the oil spill was being brought to the crash site.
The latest crash occurred nearly three hours after an earlier multi-vehicle crash that shut down EB I-76 just east of Bailey Road. A second accident was reported near the backed up traffic.
