White House Fruit Farm's 'Tulip Experience' opens Wednesday
White House Fruit Farm announced on its Facebook page that its website is experiencing high traffic due to ticket sales for its upcoming Tulip Experience.
The post advised customers that the website may load slowly and recommended patience, suggesting they try again later.
The Tulip Experience, a ticketed event at the Canfield farm, is scheduled to open Wednesday, April 23, and run through May 3. The event will display of approximately 225,000 planted tulip bulbs.
Kim Sisco of White House Fruit Farm said the experience offer more than flowers.
"It's a fabulous place to be. We have lots of photo ops set up for you so you can come in, just enjoy being in nature, being amongst the flowers. Take all the pictures you want visit the different photo stations. If you'd like hang out for a bit, we'll have live music here on weekends." Sisco said.
Sisco hopes to offer the Tulip Experience yearly. This year, the farm aims to have the tulip field open for at least a total of four weeks throughout the season.
Tickets are priced at $12 for weekdays and $15 for Saturdays and Sundays. Children aged five and under can enter for free.
Additional dates for the Tulip Experience may be released later, depending on weather conditions and bloom times. The farm also indicated that dates for professional photography at the tulip display will be announced soon.
