Sharpsville man killed in Hubbard Township crash on I-80
Eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 were closed for a time due to the accident.

A Sharpsville, Pennsylvania, man died Tuesday afternoon when his vehicle struck a dump truck on Interstate 80 in Hubbard Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Joshua Marriotti, 42, was driving a 2023 Buick Envision eastbound on I-80 around 3:26 p.m. when it crashed into the rear of a 2016 Peterbilt dump truck, the patrol's Warren Post said in a news release.
The driver of the dump truck, Stephen Varga, 57, of Brookfield, Ohio, was transported by Liberty EMS to Sharon Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. Marriotti was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 were closed for a time due to the accident.
