Animal Charity of Ohio fundraising to help with rising emergency medical cost for rescues

Animal Charity of Ohio is holding two upcoming fundraising events to offset emergency medical costs.
On Saturday April, 26 at 7 p.m. country music artist Mike Cunningham will have a live performance.
Then on Saturday, May 10 at 10:30 a.m. Animal Charity will host a purse bingo with the top prize being a Louis Vuitton handbag.
Executive Director of Animal Charities, Jane MacMurchy said this year they've spent $70,000 for emergency medical care for animals that they've taken in which is more than they usually spend in an entire year.
“When you’re talking about saving the life of an animal that was shot or saving the life of an animal that was severely neglected or frozen to the ground and they have a great prognosis then we’re going to move forward with what the veterinarians say and unfortunately those costs are extremely high,” she said.
Tickets for both events can be found here.
