Police: Suspected shoplifters target Liberty Walmart twice on the same day

Two men are accused of going on shoplifting sprees at the Liberty Walmart twice on the same day.
Three suspects, all from Youngstown, face theft charges after Walmart security told police that 21-year-old Jamek Clarett and 18-year-old Dwayne Howard pushed a shopping cart full of goods out of the Goldie Road store without paying on April 10.
Police say that later that same day, Clarett and Howard returned to the store with 19-year-old Resean Graham.
An employee told Police that the three men were seen at a self-checkout lane repeatedly swiping various credit, debit, and gift cards.
Leaving the store with several items, the three men were met by Liberty Police, who arrested them and took them to the county jail.
During a search of Clarette and Howard, officers reported finding 32 credit, debit, and gift cards, according to the police report.
The three have all pleaded not guilty to theft charges. Clarett is also charged with misuse of credit cards. The three were in court Thursday for a pretrial hearing. Another court hearing is scheduled for the trio on May 28 at 9 a.m. in Judge Jeffrey Adler's courtroom.
