A Sharon woman faces several charges after allegedly forcing her way into a home and assaulting a relative and her two children Saturday evening, according to a police criminal complaint.

Police were sent to a home on Hull Street around 7:53 p.m., where the alleged victim told them that Kristen Marie Price, 51, of Sharon, had forced her way into the home after being told to leave.

The woman told police that Price then assaulted her, grabbing her hair, knocking off her glasses, striking her head with her hands or fists, shoving her, and throwing an ashtray and a car seat at her. The assault was reportedly broken up by the woman's husband.

Police report seeing a bruise and abrasion on the woman's forehead. Her 8-year-old son had bruising and swelling around his left eye. The woman also reported that Price pushed her 9-year-old daughter in the face. Police didn’t see injuries on the 9-year-old, but she told officers she had been pushed.

Officers arrested Price at her Delaware Street home later that evening.

Price was arraigned Sunday morning before Magisterial District Judge Daniel W. Davis. She faces felony charges of burglary and three misdemeanor charges, including two counts of endangering the welfare of children and one count of simple assault, as well as trespass.

Price's preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 9 before Magisterial District Judge Travis P. Martwinski. Bail was set at $5,000.
