Hermitage Director of Business and Community Development Mark Longietti appeared on WFMJ Weekend Today Sunday, April 27 to discuss progress on future developments at the site of the former Shenango Valley Mall.

Now, 21 News has obtained renders showing a clearer picture of what folks can expect to see at the new property.

The first rendering shows the parking lot of a retailer coming to the site, which Longietti identified as Target during Sunday's interview. Other renderings released show Chili's, LongHorn Steakhouse and Chick-Fil-A.

Longeitti says he anticipates these businesses to open up sometime in 2026. You can take a look at all of these renderings in the slideshow above.

Additionally, Longietti told 21 News this is just phase one of the project to revitalize the former mall site. This phase will encompass half of the property.

While plans for phase two are still in the works, Longietti says he believes another big box retailer could be a part of that second phase.
