Ohio & PA - Various bread products sold at Giant Eagle stores in Ohio and Pennsylvania have been recalled after glass was found on top of the bread.

According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), products affected by this recall include four-ounce paper cartons of Ancient Grains hoagie rolls, 18-ounce paper cartons of multigrain sourdough bread and 20-ounce paper cartons of whole grain multigrain bread.

This is classified as a Class II recall, which according to the FDA means use of or exposure to the product could result in temporary medically-reversable adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.

The FDA did not indicate whether or not any injuries were reported from the recalled bread products.

If you have purchased a recalled product, you're asked not to consume it and instead throw it away.
