Ursuline 1961 alumnus Terry McCarthy will be cheering on "Journalism" in the 151st Kentucky Derby.
That's due to Terry's son, Michael being the trainer for the derby favorite.
Michael was born in Youngstown in 1971 but the family moved to California when he was five years old.
He received his trainers license in 2006 and has 2,743 starts with 450 wins and has earned better than $43 million.
In the 2021 Preakness he trained Rombauer to a win.
