YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A Youngstown man who is accused of trafficking a teen for sex has been booked in the Mahoning County Jail several months after an indictment was filed against him.

Twenty-five-year-old Nicholas Felder was arrested on Thursday, May 1 several months after being charged with several felonies including one count each of rape, trafficking in persons and commercial exploitation of a minor as well as two counts of compelling prostitution and three counts of corrupting another with drugs.

He is also facing one misdemeanor count of assault.

According to an indictment filed in September of 2024, Felder's alleged crimes began in April of 2023 when he allegedly gave drugs to a 16-year-old girl and forced her to have sex with him.

These alleged crimes took place over the course of three months.

Investigators with the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force previously told 21 News Felder advertised the alleged victim for sex on several websites with the ads including images of a minor.

Additionally, Felder is accused of arranging meetups between the alleged victim and adult males in which he forced her to have sex and kept the proceeds for himself.

Felder is scheduled to be arraigned May 6 and a jury trial is scheduled for May 12.
