NEWTON FALLS, Ohio - A Newton Falls man pled guilty to several child pornography charges on Tuesday.

Forty-five-year-old David Lucero pled guilty to eight counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor and two counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance.

No sentencing date has been set yet, but Lucero will undergo a psychiatric evaluation prior to his sentencing date. He is currently under house arrest.

Lucero's charges stem from conduct that occurred between July and September of 2023. Investigators found several images and videos of juveniles engaging in sexual conduct with adults or performing sexual acts on themselves.

Lucero is facing a maximum of 80 to 84 years in prison. The state will be recommending prison time.
