Warren to host Kinnection Weekend for scholarships
WARREN, Ohio - Ongoing Neighborhood Empowerment (O.N.E.) announced that the city of Warren will host its inaugural Warren Kinnection Weekend from Friday through Sunday. The three-day event aims to foster community spirit and raise funds for scholarships.
The weekend kicks off Friday at 7 p.m. with a comedy show at the Underground Lounge, located at 139 North Park Avenue. The show will feature comedian Mike E. Winfield, known for his appearances on Netflix and "America's Got Talent." Tickets for the comedy show are $20.
On Saturday, an Alumni Game will be held at Warren G. Harding High School, 860 Elm Road N.E., at 4 p.m. Tickets for the game are $10.
The weekend concludes Sunday with a brunch featuring live music from Total Package Band. The brunch will take place at 3 p.m. at the Best Western, 136 North Park Avenue. Tickets for the brunch are $50.

In addition to the main events, several Warren businesses, including Modern Methods, Urban Tap, Club Michael, West & Main, and the Underground Lounge, will host special events and promotions throughout the weekend.
Proceeds from the Warren Kinnection Weekend will be used to award multiple scholarships to students pursuing college, trade school, or other forms of higher education.
