One person was hospitalized following a single-vehicle accident in Youngstown early Thursday.

YOUNGSTOWN - One person was hospitalized following a single-vehicle accident in Youngstown early Thursday.
Youngstown police and fire departments were called to Andrews Avenue at East Rayen Avenue just after midnight. According to authorities, a car traveling at approximately 45 miles per hour toward the Oak Street overpass lost control, striking a pole and a building.
The driver was taken to a hospital. Their condition was not immediately available.
Police indicated there were no initial suspicions of alcohol or drug involvement in the crash.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
