TC Caffey was recruited by Youngstown State coming out of high school and decided to walk on at Ohio State.

Now, after a couple of injuries he's coming back home to be a Penguin with three years of eligibility.

"He'll bring a very competitive running back room," said head coach Doug Phillips when asked what Caffey is brining to the program.

The Penguins have at least five running backs on the roster in Antuan Gardner, Da'Shaun Whatley, Jaden Gilbert, Ethan Wright and Tahir Mills.

"If we get a young man from the FBS its usually one that wants to come home and be a Penguin and that's the category he fell into," said Phillips.

Caffey had only 10 carries at Ohio State for 66 yards and a touchdown.
