Addie Sarisky has been participating in gymnastics from a very early age.

Now, the soon to be senior can add National Champion to her resume.

"It started when I was two and my mom did gymnastics and ever since then I can't remember a time I didn't do it," said Sarisky.

A few weeks ago she won the title in Salt Lake City, Utah on the all around, bars and beams.

"It's been a goal of mine so just feeling the accomplishment because I've been working towards that goal for so long, it felt good to get it."

Sarisky has earned a scholarship at Alabama and she says staying healthy and training are two of her plans for the summer along with training.

"The ultimate goal is to have a great career at Alabama and hopefully win a national championship with them.," she said.

Sarisky trains at the Olympic Dreams Gymnastics Center in Liberty Township.
