Southington man sentenced to one year in prison on child sex charge
The charge stems from an incident from February of 2024 where Yoder had fondled a 13-year-old boy.

SOUTHINGTON, Ohio - A Southington man who pled guilty to a child sex charge in April has learned his fate.
According to the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office, 31-year-old Leroy Yoder was sentenced to one year in prison on one count of gross sexual imposition, which is a fourth degree felony.
Once released, Yoder must also register as a Tier 1 sex offender once a year for the next 15 years.
The charge stems from an incident from February of 2024 where Yoder had fondled a 13-year-old boy. The prosecutor's office says Yoder knew the victim.
