AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - A protest was held outside of Rulli Brothers in Austintown in the opposition of Ohio Representative Michael Rulli on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 11.

About 20 people came to the outside of the grocer with signs reading "eat the rich" and "Rulli do your job".

The protestors say that they aren't happy with Rulli's seeming willingness to do what the GOP tells him needs to be done, including being in support of Trump's "big beautiful budget bill".

"All he's really gonna do is what the republican tell him to do," said one protestor. "Whatever Donald Trump does, he loves it. Even though it's gonna hurt the poorest of the poor, the oldest of the old. The people who need it the most."

Among one of the protestors was former Ohio congressional candidate Michael Kripchak, who spoke on Rulli not yet holding a town hall in the area since being elected last year.

"Congress holds the ultimate power and Michael Rulli is a follower not a leader," said Kripchak.  "We need a leader in there, and he needs to wake up."

The protests began at 3 p.m. and were set to end around 5 p.m.
