Mercer County timber and veneer company closing, 81 losing jobs

JACKSON CENTER, Pennsylvania - International Timber and Veneer, a manufacturer of custom-cut veneer products, is set to close its facility in Jackson Center, Mercer County, affecting 81 employees.
A Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice, posted on the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry website, indicates the closure will be effective August 18, 2025.
The company, located at 75 McQuiston Drive, specializes in custom-sliced hardwood face veneers.
A request for comment from International Timber and Veneer has not yet received a reply.
