Vitamin B12 gummies recalled from ALDI, Amazon over undeclared peanuts
WASHINGTON - Vita-Warehouse Corp. has announced a voluntary recall of specific lots of its Welby®, Berkley Jensen®, and VitaGlobe™ Vitamin B12 gummy products, sold at retailers including ALDI and online at Amazon, due to the potential presence of undeclared peanuts. This poses a serious risk for individuals with peanut allergies, who could experience severe or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume these gummies.
As of now, no illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported in connection with this recall.
The affected products were distributed nationwide at ALDI and BJ’s retail stores, as well as online through aldi.us, bjs.com, vitaglobe.com, and amazon.com/vitaglobe.
The recall was prompted by routine testing at ALDI, which indicated a possible peanut allergen in a product specifically labeled as "does not contain peanuts." While Vita-Warehouse Corp.'s own internal tests have not found peanuts in the product, the company is issuing the recall out of an abundance of caution to ensure consumer safety and maintain trust.

Aldi Welby® Vitamin B12 Energy Support gummy product 1000 mcg 140 gummies: This product comes in a clear bottle with a white cap and green, red, and white labeling. Look for UPC Code: 4099100290868, Lot #: 248046601, and an Expiration Date: 10/2026.
Berkley Jensen® Vitamin B12 1000 mcg 250 Gummies: These are in a clear bottle with a white cap and red and pink labeling. The UPC Code is 888670132487, Lot #: 248046601, and Expiration Date: 10/2026.
VitaGlobe™ Vitamin B12 Extra Strength 60 Gummies: This product features a clear bottle with a white cap and white and red labeling. The UPC Code is 850005214670, Lot #: 248046601, and Expiration Date: 10/2026.
You'll find the lot code and expiration date printed on the bottom of each bottle.
Consumers with a peanut allergy who have purchased these specific products with the identified lot code and expiration date should immediately return them to the place of purchase for a full refund or discard them. Anyone who experiences an allergic reaction after consuming these gummies should seek immediate medical attention.
The recall does not affect any other Welby®, Berkley Jensen®, or VitaGlobe™ brand products.
